DUWA

Healing & Reconciliation

About Us

The Duwa Project, an initiative guided by the Vicariate for Evangelisation in the Archdiocese of Malta, is profoundly committed to the goals of healing and growth. Rooted in Pope Francis’ vision of the Church as a “field hospital” and inspired by his call for healing as “a place where science meets humanity,” the Duwa Project provides trauma-informed psycho-spiritual support tailored to the unique needs of Malta’s evolving communities. By blending psychotherapeutic approaches with spiritual care, we foster a transformative journey of healing, resilience, and spiritual nourishment. Open to all, regardless of faith or cultural background, Duwa welcomes individuals and families on a path of recovery, well-being, and spiritual development.
